LEARNING TOOLS
Audio
Some students, especially those whose learning style is auditory, benefit from listening to the presentation of written material. To support these students we narrate the Student Guide for every Example and Visual in the Enablemath content library. We also provide narration to every step in the Examples. Students can listen repeatedly to these narrations as they work with the interactive Examples of how to solve the problem types.

Flex
FLEX stands for Fluency Exercises. Every student needs to build fluency in the basic math facts, like the times tables, because fluency makes practice an efficient and productive process. Enablemath builds math fluency in the same way that typing or keyboarding programs build fluency. Students can either be assigned FLEX Exercises by the teacher or they can "Create Your Own FLEX". Students can practice with patterned sets before moving on to more difficult random sets. The goal is to answer as many problems correctly as possible in a minute. Students can do an exercise as many times as they want and the program retains the highest score so the student always knows the score they are trying to beat.

Messages
Enablemath includes a complete internal messaging system to allow students and teachers to exchange messages and even the screens they are working on. A teacher can send a message to an individual student or to the class as a whole. The Enablemath Message Center works like most standard messaging systems do except that it enables students and teachers to exchange live dynamic images so that each can see and interact with the content. This powerful tool can make students and teachers more productive and makes distance learning much easier to manage.

Live Capture
Enablemath is designed for communication in the digital age. Students and teachers can capture any screen they are working on and save that screen with all of its dynamic components. They can then incorporate that screen into their individual Portfolio or build content with that screen with our Math Wiki, Everyday Math. Simply by clicking on the Camera Icon the screen is automatically saved and can be seen Portfolio or Everyday Math.

Glossary
Every important mathematical term has been included in the Enablemath Glossary. The Glossary includes a short definition of the term and an example of the form of equation or mathematical context for which the term is relavent. Most important, a sample screen shot has been included from the interactive content to allow the student to enter the program and actually visualize and work with the term.

Testing
Enablemath comes with a powerful Test Builder that allows teachers and mentors to create quizzes, pre-tests or post-tests covering any domain of content in the program. Within minutes assignments can be selected, the problems identified and the test is created. Tests can cover small areas of content or largesuch as an entire module. The problems that students see can either be randomly selected from the identified domain or a fixed set of problems can be created so that every student receives the same problems. And, Enablemath content can be linked to external evaluative measures such as state standards for K-12 students or college entry tests.
