The nature of your asset(s), the scale of wealth, and your knowledge and interest as a beneficiary all play into the best learning program fit. 

Access to your trustee and trust information is not required

Documents such as your will, trust, financial statements, and estate plan are not required but can enhance your experience through applied learning assignments or can be used if working with an advisor

Ability to work with your trustee and other advisors is ideal but not required

All learning programs are in English, utilizing mixed media elements such as audio, visual, and experiential

Why should I get the ABS designation?

The ABS designation will provide you with 1. increased credibility, 2. empowerment to act on your own behalf, and 3. improved competence, confidence, productivity, and communication with your family, peers, and advisors.

How long does it take to complete?

Each course will take a different amount of time to complete based on your prior knowledge of the subject matter. On average, the ABS program will take about 45 hours to complete. The Stewardship in Action program will take about 14 hours to complete.  The Estate Planning, Trusts, and Tax program will take about 18 hours to complete. The Financial Planning, Administration, and Investing program will take about 13 hours to complete.

How long do i have to complete the program?

What can be downloaded?

There are documents that are downloadable either by clicking on the hyperlink or the download button on the top right of the embedded PDF viewer. Note that not all the documents are downloadable. Your Notes are all downloadable by clicking on the export button within the Notes widget.

how is the content kept current?

We will update the content when there are changes to the tax code and law that impacts Tamarind Learning content. We also work with industry leading thought experts who provide us with current content as it becomes available. Our goal is to maintain the content to ensure it is relevant.

Who created the content?

The content was developed by respected industry thought leaders from each discipline. The content was then modified to the platform by the Tamarind Learning team.

How long is information stored once i am no longer active?

Your information and data will be stored up to 2 years after the end of your access to Tamarind Learning unless otherwise instructed. Payment information is not stored by Tamarind Learning.

Is the website safe, secure, and confidential?

Yes! The website is hosted on secure servers, backed up, and has redundancy protocols in place. The servers utilize actively managed security features to ensure the data is protected.

Is my family group or cohort information private?

Yes! Groups and families are created separate and share the information only within the group or family members.

Do you share information with 3rd parties?

No. Your privacy is at our utmost concern.

 Who owns the information from our family (actions, answers, thoughts, and sharing)?

You own your information. Tamarind Learning does not own your information and can not use your information in any way without your prior approval.

Can I make recommedations and report any issues?

Can I use the courses as continuing education credit?

At this time, no. However, we are in the process of working to establish Tamarind Learning as a provider for CE credits.

Can I customize a program to tailor the courses for my family?

Can my family white label the program?

Do you offer discounts?
